Thanks MacsladyThe only thing I can add is never disregard a horse because the bloodlines are way back. There are those animals that will surprise you. There are well bred close up money winners who produce some animals that don't live up to the potential expected.
Is your guy related to mine? lol. Chance has those same ones.I didn't say it was a bad thing at all. My horse has do nothing parents as well. And he also has King, Skipper W, Impressive, Skipa Star, etc. Does it make a difference? Not really. Does he look or act like any of them? No. Heck he has Man o' War fairly close up, maybe 9-10 generations back. Does that make him and instant racehorse? No. All I said was that the parents didn't do anything and were most likely bred because of their color. Nothing wrong with the horse in question, doesn't make the horse crappy. My gelding was bred for color, and I love him to bits.
