I've got pony club ribbon days coming up in which i have to plait up my horse. It will be my first time doing it by myself. I'm going to use elastic bands because its easier. I've been looking it up on youtube and have been rolling them up into button braids, but the end always sticks out.

Can anyone give me any tips, or direct me to a good tutorial?

Thankyou! Is it alright if i do it the night before? will they stay or irritate my horse? Or is it best to do them the morning of competing?

ok we will have to leave at like 7:30 in the morning so i will see how i go. i will practice heaps from now and then!

there are method of plaiting with thread tbat are very easy an when rolling up far easier than bands. when i get onto a computer later ill do u a walk through

That would be so good! I really want to use thread they look so much better! it look so confusing though!

I might use the thread then I will try and do it the morning before but im worried i will panic and then the plaits will look terrible. but i guess i will just practice heaps.
