My mom was hospitalized last night and diagnosed with severe pneumonia.
Has anyone had someone come out alive with a severe case?
I need all the hope I can get, I'm staying positive tho! she's a fighter for sure! I know she's going to make it through I would just like to know your stories if anyone has any.

I don't believe I know anyone, but doctors today are pretty good.
I'm sure she'll be fine!
But I'll be thinking bout you and your family and hoping for the best!

My little brother got it, and he was only like 5 or 6 at the time. and He was put on medications, and was good within a few weeks. The only bad thing was that he lost a lot of weight, and hes a skinny boy. Im really sorry to hear this. =( I really wish you the best, and hope everything works out okay!!!!!!!

thank you. it just all happened sooo fast.
it's devastating to say the least, she was only 49. with 2 kids, me, 18 and my brother, 21, we have older half siblings as well that she pretty much raised, they are 27 and 30.
no one has ever heard of someone passing so fast from this, the symptoms showed up too late for us to make a difference unfortunately, doc said that even 2 days earlier wouldn't have made a difference, the bacteria was already where it was.

just know if you ever feel sick, DONT HESITATE to go to the doctor, it may save your life.
