Thats my mare. Anything worth while in her breeding? I dont know any of those lines, or what they even did.

I wish I could post the little guys lines- Sonny Dee Bar bred, but hes not registered. I believe he's an all around'er?

Great. I was expecting someone to say they never herd of her lines. I won't breed her, she's a maiden and I have no experience but do you guys think shes worth breeding based on her line?

She dosent have the best confirmation, shes sort of post legged (not too bad)and has a choppy gait, and has navicular. Shes not rideable so if I had to sell her for some reason she would only make someone a ?broodmare? or companion.

I personally don't think that I would. Even though her lines are good several generations back, there really isn't anything great in the last few generations. What is really the kicker though is the navicular; it could have been a conformational fault or she may have been genetically predisposed to having it and would pass the higher chances for it on to a foal. I think companion would be the only option. A horse like her would make a wonderful pasture puff.

Yup. I was taking to my friend about that. Most of the time it is confirmational, combined with a not so good farrier. She would be an ok pleasure horse, shes almost 100% sound for light work, we're working on getting her feet right. Shes 100% for walking but not trotting. She loves occasion trail rides. But I havent ridden her since around May. She needs to have a good farrier and consistent trims. Id worry about some people not wanting to invest the money in shoes/ a good farrier in a pasture puff. I guess some people cant afford having a horse done every 4-6weeks. My farrier was telling me some of his clients want to push their horses to 13 weeks!!
