im no super expert about everything on a horse, which is mainly why i signed up for this is to ask questions when im not sure.

you know when your picking out your horses hooves and towards the heel there is like, extra "skin" im not sure what to even call it. looks like random pieces of the frog or something..

im never sure whether to leave this alone (which i do) or if it is something that can be pulled off or cut off or something? what is it? i never messed with it because i didnt know if it would hurt them to pull it off or just leave it and it will fall off on its own or what..

am i even making sense? lol

I know exactly what you are talking about and I always leave it alone. It is dead skin, like a callous, but I see no reason to mess with it. I'm sure it could be cut away with no harm, but I don't see any reason to bother. Curious to hear others opinions.
