Can you re brake a horse? My mom desided to re brake my 12 year old palamino. It seemed to rune her. She didn't trust me anymore after my mom did that. Is that a bad thing to do?

Why would your mom need to re-break a horse?

Its highly possible that your mom just didn't have the experience necessary to do it effectively, and in fact did ruin her.

She was rebraking because she thought that my horse wasn't kid proof enough. She was for an average rider but my sister was just a beginner.

She hacked her out and made her run and run in a round pen for hours. That's when i started to lose her trust. What should I do to gain trust back?

Rebrake? You mean he won't stop?

or Rebreak?
 Sorry I just couldn't resist!! The devil made me do it.

You can retrain a horse. I do it often when I get soured horses. However, I do it with positive reinforcement and very minimal punishment. I just don't lose trust, but rebuild it.

Different methods might get very different results, I'm afraid.
