It went GREAT! I really liked the vet that did it, she explained a lot as she was going. She noticed that Ricci has a spot on the right side of her neck, and two vertebrae out of place in her lower back, but that's it! She said that for being 18 and never having chiro done on her before, she's doing great. She wants to come out again is 3-4 weeks to see how she is holding up, and then we'll go from there. She said the first few appointments are placed closer together and depending on the horse, can be stretched out for a pretty decent amount of time. The vet also said that the carrot stretches I do and the leg stretches are really helpful and to keep up on them. She also said I could help Ricci's back by using the heel of my hand to massage her lower back, which I'll definitely do. I can't wait to ride her and see what differences it makes!
