I've come to the conclusion I need lessons & am looking for an instructor near Sanger, Tx. I live in AR (middle of nowhere), but work in Denton, Tx and stay in Sanger. I am a lifelong horse person, but took about 10 years "off" and then got badly injured on a green horse when I started to ride again about 15 yrs ago. I am not a super confident rider at this point & have some other issues to overcome. For instance, I tend to brace in my stirrups, which makes me stiff. I trail ride only, but want to improve my form & perhaps regain some of the skills I had in my 20's. Anyone in that area have any recommendations?

I currently ride western, new owner of a gaited horse, which is a whole bunch of new stuff to learn. Ideal would be an instructor who knows gaited horses, but really just looking to improve balance/form/communication.
