It has been a long time since I've needed to saddle shop, and I'm having a hard time of it. My saddleseat horse recently went hunt, and he's much happier, but my current hunt saddle doesn't fit him. I like to ride in a flatter seat with soft knee rolls, and I'm having a hard time finding something in my budget price. Does anyone have any suggestions for brands to look at? Preferable under $1,500.

Look at used as that will open the field of quality saddles in most any brand in leather.
That amount of $$ would allow so many more choices in used...
If you want new you are severely limited with costs as they are today....

Can you tell us what it is you currently have, what size seat and width of tree to help the saddle gurus offering of some suitable choices and possibly where you might find available saddles for trial and sale....
Size of the horse too would help....
