I have a 5 year old cob, about a month ago I noticed a small pea size lump on his sheath area at first I thought it was just a wart. It seemed to be getting bigger but as it was still very small I didnt think much more of it. However today I have noticed it's now roughly the size if a marble and the skins broke away and it's began to bleed. After reading up online I realise it's a sarcoid. I've been worried all day searching through many websites and I've realised it's going to get worse now as were going into the hotter months. I'm so scared to know what to do for the best some websites say elastic bands others say not, some say there best to be left others need to be caught whilst still small and not very aggressive. Although now I've just read if it's began to bleed your in trouble
if anyone knows and more please let me know, any way of containing the disease his seems to be progressing fast
