Ugh, sometimes I hate life. On Friday I got fired from my job....I could go into it, but we'll just sum it up and say if they'd rather have the two new people who aren't trained and the one who always calls in as their employees, that's fine by me! At least now I get to sleep in past 4 in the freakin morning.
The only drawback is of course, that I may have to sell Ice. I'm going to talk with my BO and see about working off board, plus the trainer fee I now have. I got 325 dollars out of my last checks, so I only need to make up 100 more to be safe for next month. I'm already selling most of the crap I have laying around the tack room (I don't use it anyway) and on Monday I'm going to go and sell some of my clothes at the second hand store so I can hopefully get my farrier bill paid (Its only 35 dollars). I do have a couple of job leads, I need to call the local emergency equine clinic about the overnight position they sort of offered me (I REALLY want that one), and then I have a phone interview on Monday for some electronic cigarette kiosk in the mall (the pay 10.50 an hour). There's also a Subway thats hiring.
Hopefully I'll be able to make it through without selling my horse. My mother already told me point blank that they can't afford paying for him, but if I can work off his boarding fee, I might be able to scrape by on having them pay for his farrier bills and my gas. Thankfully, he's had his teeth done, so he'll be set for this year, and his coggins and other vac's arent due till late May/early June.
What a way to start my weekend, huh?
