I'm so excited. Today we bought our simmental bulls. (we won't pick them up until later) I wish I had taken photos, but I guess they will be home soon enough. I will include photos of their sires.

We bought a gorgeous black simmental bull named KSR Beefmaker. He's a son of Dream On. Absolutely gorgeous.

We also bought a gorgeous non-dilutor, dark cherry red bull named KSR Rimfire. He's a Commandero son. (who goes back to Dream on and Preferred Stock.)

And hopefully <crossing fingers> when we go to pick them up, we'll bring home a purebred simmental heifer named Fergie. She is a TNT Top Gun daughter. She will hopefully be the start of our purebred herd.

We used to breed Simmental cows. We had a huge black bull named D.U.I. He was a son of Influence. He had papers and everything. We had to sell all of our cows about a year ago...can't say I was upset. That bull was meaner than any other cow I have ever seen. Lucky he didn't have horns. :/ I'll try to find a picture...

That is so cool! Growing up we had a lot of cows at our place. Our land was leased out because we have hundreds of acres. Looks so neat. Make sure to take some pictures when you get them over at your place.
