I dislike fleece coolers as a cooler.👎
My coolers are wool.
They take the wet gone and then dissipate that wet into the atmosphere to make the animal & material return to dry.

Do a side by side comparison on you of fleece socks & wool socks on wet, sweaty feet.
Tell me honestly which foot is drier, faster and feels better faster.🤔

I can tell you my horse dries faster and just slipping my hands under on their upper barrel they are toasty warm not damp with wool.
A natural fiber wool is a insulating factor no fleece is going to produce either.
Insulating also is part of the drying process.

From large billowy squares(not a favorite of them) to fitted dress sheet to designs with a attached neck...wool it would be.
Today there are new manmade materials used in high energy expended sports that whick, whisk, dry and help regulate body temps to normal fleece as old as it is it's no longer the better choice used for what you want.

Even at a winter horse show, freezing before you rode in riding attire those who were wrapped in a wool cooler were not cold, but the fleece wrapped persons were....😟
