Went out so the farrier could trim some hooves and evaluate Pickles. Love my kids, they are doing so well.

Dates are wrong. As usual. My camera...:oops:

His feet are really worn down to next to nothing thanks to all the pacing he did. It will be a good 6 to 8 weeks before he can do anything but extremely light work on extremely soft ground, but he's with us forever. We're taking things slow and steady.

I feel so blessed to have them in my life.

And Pickles already has a marked improvement. He's calm, curious...the light has returned to his eyes, and his ribs are not so easily seen, although he is still rather bony beneath all that raggedy hair. He also loves to play tug-o-war lol.

Thank you. :) I'm rather proud of them, I've never before been able to catch Lilly posing and carrying herself well without help.
