Has anyone ever been to summerhouse equestrian in the U.K. before? I was thinking of going there for one of their 5 day courses they offer and doing some dressage, but I only really know the basics (hence why I want to go there) and didn't know if they teach well, accompany all levels and have good staff.

They had a good reputation so unless something's drastically changed you would get good tuition - they've got instructors at all levels. I think several of the local Uni's use them too
Before you book anything like a 5 day course I'd call them and have a chat about you're own level and your horses level so they can point you in the right direction for a course that's going to benefit you both the most - maybe they'll suggest you take some lessons first so they can assess you.

That's good, I've read about a couple other places that were meant to be good but weren't /:

I live quite far from the centre so having a single lesson probably won't happen but I will ask if they need to asses me for what I want to do.

If you can't get their for a single lesson then at least talk to them and describe exactly what level you and the horse are at so they can be sure they're going to pair you up with the right instructor and if its a group thing put you in a group of horses and riders that are at the same level
