Taking Chances - my riding journal

I didn't, and I don't, own any of these horses. Not one. I ride there, and I show, and I work, but I don't own any of them.
But that doesn't really matter, does it?

It doesn't.

Because me and those twelve horses, we have a bond.

So, I should really call this "The Story of the Twelve". Or thirteen, counting me.

But I like "Taking Chances".

So, perhaps I'll start with horse introductions, then the interesting stuff 😜

Chessie ;; 20? y/o Quarter Pony cross ;; dark bay ;; Chessie is...interesting. Grumpy sometimes on the ground, yet safe and fun as can be under saddle. Until you get to the jumping. See, Chessie is rather...insecure. But, if you give her enough momentum and sit back, she'll eventually go over the jump. Eventually. Maybe. If she feels like it.
