So. This is going to sound like a really dumb, probably obvious question- if you know it. So here goes. Has anyone ever heard of... Sternum breaks? or something similar? in TWH's? Ya know... all that exaggerated high stepping? Pretty sure if i tried that, i would most definitely knee myself in the face/chest or something? So has anyone heard of this happening with horses? If not... what's the worst injury you've heard of/seen breed specific to a TWH? (Not soring/big lick or any of that- Let me know all about it

1. No, never. Not anymore than any other horse would become injured in an accident. And FWIW, a sternum injury would very possibly be fatal.

2. Possibly dry hocks as they age, and stifle injuries.

3. Who have you been talking to, that came up with such folderol?

Thank you!
I am aware that a sternum injury would likely be fatal, was just checking!
(Haven't been talking to anybody, just watching videos and was surprised at how exaggerated the gait was)
Thanks again,
Holly xx
