Hi, my horse has a really thin mane and forelock. It wasn't until last winter before I started working with him the lesson teacher/chore person who was crazy shorted his food to less than half a can of grain because he was bad for lessons. It's okay he's fat and happy now :D Anyway his mane and forelock are still really thin. I put MTG on it every week but all it seems to do is make him smell like bacon :p I also don't comb it (unless I'm putting the MTG on) because I don't want to thin it out any more. It looks really bad like that though. Is there any way I can make his mane and forelock longer and thinner? Also what could I do to make his mane look pretty and neat without combing it?

Thanks!
