Thanksgiving long weekend here in Canada

Heading to Saskatchewan for a medieval weekend, then home to relax and stuff myself with Turkey and dressing on Monday. YUM!

Big group trail ride tomorrow. Sunday so far is unplanned, I may have a buddy over to take both horses out. Monday=feasting myself upon delicious turkey and Grandma's cheesecake.

Seriously though, working like every weekend when you have a farm to run. :-( A few lessons to give tomorrow, mowing the pastures one last time for the year and re-doing some fence. I hope to make time to hoof it alone through the woods and relax.

Ummm...working tomorrow (but I get to wear a costume, so that's okay). Sunday is church and hanging with the parentals. Next weekend will be more fun, though. Going on a moonlight trail ride Friday night! Squee!

today is my birthday and my uber wonderful boyfriend bought me a new bridle - a Passier Gemini snaffle bridle so i will be cleaning, oiling and starting the break in process with that. woohoo!!!

otherwise i forsee some birthday cake and a marathon of the X-Files which i was just informed is now available on netflix. happy birthday to me!

MHFQ that cake is beyond amazing!!! can you imagine? i would hate to eat something that's so well done and obviously took quite some time to create. wowza - i do not have any culinary skills. hahahaha
