Well last year was not mine and Phoebe's year at all. I had loads of shows planned for me and Phoebe the first big show we had planned we couldn't go to because Phoebe pulled up lame. I told myself it was ok and we could go to the next one. The day before our next show Phoebe damaged her split bones and couldn't be ridden for two weeks. Once Phoebe was back to fitness after that bad incident we were going great and had a one day show planned for two weeks later. The day of the show I got up and went outside to bring Phoebe in from the field. She had her leg caught in a piece of wire and she had broken it off and it ripped under her fetlock on her front left leg. It took nearly two months to heal.

All in all me and Phoebe didn't have a very good year last year at all.
But this year will be our year I just know it. It feels good and tomorrow will be my first ride of the new year and if it goes well that is just a good sign for better things to come in my opinion. I have most of my show season of showjumping planned out and I am ready to go for it me and Phoebe together :D

I had a bad year showing too. Couldn't get the judges to look at him to save my life! 2010 is going to be different... Lots of videos coming our way >8D

I wish all of you showing this new year the best of luck. i am sponsoring my barn owner to take Paul to some western shows this spring/summer. he thinks paul would be great for cutting and team penning with his background. would be nice to have win a little money and some ribbons.
