It is always useful to have description/age/ownership in one document, as well sometimes these registries sponser nice awards. If it is a reasonable cost I would do it.
Thoughts on performance registries?
Particularly American Warmblood Society and Sporthorse Registry. (awssr.org)
Can register with pedigree or without, but must "prove" performance through USEF, USDF, combined driving, inspection in hand, etc.
I have a warmblood-type rescue gelding who I would love to get some kind of papers on. (He is microchipped.) Will be doing dressage with him.
