I noticed tonight while I was cleaning out my horses hooves that he has a mild case of thrush. Are there any home-made remedies that I could use to help get rid of it? I'm quite low on cash until sometime this week. :-| Or will it just go away on it's own..?

Thanks!

You can get a spray bottle, put bleach in it and then dilute with water.

Thrush is caused by bacteria, it's anaerobic, so as soon as it touches the air, it's killed. What I'm basically saying is to just keep cleaning his feet out, and keep them as dry as possible.

Be careful using bleach. Bleach kills good bacteria too as well as peroxide. Just a warning. Vinegar wont kill the healthy cells. As said above as well, the dryer and cleaner you can keep his feet the better, moisture is a great home for bacteria.
