Hey all,
Well a while back I posted in the health section about my gelding going out to pasture.
Several people posted back and gave me great suggestions. I managed to have a chance to put the Bear (Halflinger) next to him in an adjacent paddock for a few hours. This I am sure helped. I also took every opportunity to walk along the fence outside the gelding pasture and let the others meet him. The last walk along the fence went very well and they all foloowed us around the outside for a while. When they stopped. Tiny just wanted them to come back.
It went very well and I managed to get some photos and some video even tho the weather was windy damp and cold.
So here you go.
Interesting story about the Horse w/blanket and the small yearling.

So the Paint horse is a gelding and was at one time in a psture with a few mares. He and the mares all belong to the same person. They had all been in pastured together for years.
One day the gals reg. QH mare had a foal and they were all stumped because there are no stallions on the property and they are not allowed there.
So the little guy was a surprise. It is to expensive for the testing to find out for sure. The paint is about 20 + years old.
Rooster is the little yearling.

I stayed for about 6 hours today and Tiny seemed to be fine when I left. He did go back to the gate 2 times and sort of gaze toward the barn as if to say. "Ahh hey are you coming to get me??"

Anyhow...here is a video clip of my gelding Tiny running along the fence with Rooster. The video gets a bit funky at the end when I slipped from my perch...lol

Thanks for looking and watching....

Thanks MIE for helping me through the transition.

Thanks everyone.
It was cute when they were running. Tiny with his tail in the air.
It is supposed to snow a bit this afternoon so I am hoping they all did well last night.
I will give a call to the barn if I can't get out there this morning.

He looks very, very happy to beable to be out with his own :) I am proud of you and the transition you gave him! You'll see a much happier horse, he is out where he belongs, with whom he belongs with :)

He looks fabulous!
