Ugh this is going to sound horrible but my gelding hasn't had his fall shots yet (yes i know i know, it's terrible i waited this long. money issues, moving houses, etc. my life is a mess haha) I was going to call my vet on Friday and see if she can come out and get his fall shots but do you think i'll sound stupid? Is it a bit too late for his shots? he had is spring shots of course and i've been keeping up with his wormers as well but ??

Not at all. It's fall until Dec, 21st unless you live below the equator.

Shots can be given any time. When you give them,depends on what exposures are expected during any given time.
What fall shots do you give?
Only time I ever gave shots in the fall, was if a horse was going for winter training, or a mare, being given her series of Rhino shots
Of course, I don't board, so my horses aren't exposed to strangles and flue.

We don't give fall shots, either, since our horses are at home in a closed herd and rarely have exposure to other horses.

Call your vet and don't ever think your question(s) are stupid. Your vet has the best information about the infectious diseases and risks in your area.

Depends what your getting and why. Like others, I don't even do fall shots.

If it's winter where you are and your shots would include insect vector diseases, there's no point. Save it for the spring. If it's other things like flu, those aren't ruled out by season and it wouldn't hurt to give them now.
