I used them in CT, they really do work, though occasionally they do seem to manage to wriggle off your foot!

They do work, for as long as you can get them to stay on your boot.

I like that these have an over-the-shoe velcro strap. At least if they come off, they'll stay on the shoe! I tromped all around the barn in them this morning, and also climbed the ladder into the loft. No risk of slipping even on the ladder. Oh, I think they can also be purchased through dealers cheaper than directly from the company.

I have a pair of grippers, not like yours but similar and they sure help when it's icy out, no slipping. I feel like am like a horse that is sharp shod.

Ive not had much luck with crampons staying in place. Super annoying.
