I'm 6'5" tall and 250lbs. Tall and not a big old butt! I trail ride with my daughters. They like to canter and gallop. I'm going from old saddles with no cushion and always feeling sore. Are the Tucker saddles too cushy?

What would you pick and why?

Saddles:
Tucker Horizon Journey Trail 275
Tucker Big Bend Trail T93
Tucker High Plains Trail T60
Colorado Elk Mountain Trail

Thank you

I'd go for the Big Bend trail saddle. Since you're heavier, it has longer bars to distribute pressure better. I'm assuming your legs are long too and it has a longer seat which can help you have more room for a long thigh. That will allow you to ride with a shorter stirrup at times if you wish. Tucker makes good saddles. There is no such thong as a too comfortable saddle. Just make sure the tree fits your horse and the seat size fits you.
