So I'm almost done my certification classes, I am hoping to make some big $$ with a raise middle of next year. I have one test left, that I WILL pass on Feb 8th.

I am so ready to start riding, like everyday, now. My problem: I have two horses, one who is just pasture sound right now, Im not about to get my hopes too high about riding her again, and my little guy whos not even a year yet, like 10 months ATM. So I have a good year plus some to break my baby, with of course professional help.

I dont have a trainer, I dont even have one in mind. I've yet to find a "great" one who I click with. And I dont even have a horse to ride ATM, so I need someone with lesson horses. I wanted to ride peoples "unused" horses, but it really comes down to me needing to get back into a lesson program. Last time I was in a lesson program I was like 17, and now I'm 24. Ive ridden in between that time between, and I have gotten better at somethings (being patient) but worse at others, like my jumping eye/position. I've kind of grown with my horse skills, I take care of my horses myself now, I used to just board, I know my horses alot better. I always do my research, before I used to just do what I was told was right. I feel like I've traded one kind of knowledge for the other lol. I actually loose confindence when I realize I get left behind over a little verticle now. Before if I got dumped, well I didnt give a crap. I think I am just a little sad because of all the skill I misplaced LOL.

How should I go about finding a trainer? Taking a bunch of lessons at different places? Cold calling people, asking the tack shop for names?

I dont even know what I want to do. I want to show just for fun. I love CT, but my baby is probably going to be a short stocky little guy. Its indimidating to go to some websites and look at all their horses, all lean tbs/wbs lol. I know I shouldnt care, Im not embarresed by the baby, I just dont know how a trainer is going to look at him.

Any suggestions?
(I live in Bucks County if you know of anyone :p)
