I just found 2 outstanding looking horses. It's insane how cheap they are there. You would be 5 times that here if not more
That's it, I'm moving to the UK. Some of these are not purebreds.

Gypsy Vanner, Piebald, Gelding for sale in Eastern | Horsemart

Welsh Sec C, Chestnut, Mare for sale in Wales | Horsemart

Irish X, Grey, Gelding for sale in North West | Horsemart

Gypsy Vanner, Piebald, Gelding for sale in Scotland | Horsemart

Irish X, Coloured, Gelding for sale in North West | Horsemart

Other, Black, Gelding for sale in South East | Horsemart

Irish X, Piebald, Gelding for sale in South East | Horsemart

It would be such an easy business, to import a couple horses and start a breeding program to sell them for $12,000+ a piece.

I am quite sure you could find a good horse at a fair price in the UK at this time. The $/£ ratio is currently about 1.50$/£1 which is low by historic standards. So come along and fill your boots.
However there is one little thing you may have forgotten - although horses can swim well, they can't swim the Atlantic - especially at this time of the year.
And whilst some horses might be named Pegasus, horses don't come fitted with wings. So please add in the cost of freight.

Every breed you can think of is here but tell us what you want to do with the horse and maybe we can tell you where to look. (PS buy QHs in the US)

Now I know where there is an absolutely beautiful ex racing black thorobred 15h.2 gelding well looked after by a knowledgeable good rider - perfect for a young woman moving up from ponies to horses all for less than $5000 ex stable. Ask the young lady who owns Sonnie, then I am sure she will offer to sail the Atlantic with him.
