If any of you remember my little mare Traces of Gold in the thread Horse going bald... she looked like this:


Now her coat is back, and she's gained weight, now she looks like this:


What do you guys think of her comeback?

Thank you guys! It took a hell of a lot of feed and surprisingly, Head and Shoulders shampoo to get her right. I checked with a vet first of course, to see if it was okay...

Wow. She looks just like my friend's QH mare in the first picture. Just like her. How the hell did you get meat back on those ribs??

The vet gave me some special feed, I cant remember the name, but I'll look and tell you... I was only allowed to give her two scoops twice a day, but with the grass, the hay, and that, she picked up weight. =)

It was mostly on her other side. I tried to get a pic but she wasnt about to stick around lol. I'll look through my pics of her and find one where you can see

I had an older bay gelding and one winter he just kinda started to loose his hair...Idk why!! I just washed him with Iodine soap once a week at it got better!
