in June 2016 my 3 year old ottb was diagnosed with Sabulous Urolithiasis and Cystitis. Since then its been a battle trying to get it under control, and im wondering if any one has dealt with this and could give me some tips.
So far he is:
on grain less than 1% calcium
free choice crappy grass hay (no calcium)
apple cider vinegar, salt, vitamin C, ammonuim chloride (which is very hard to get)
he is doing alright at the moment, but he still has bad days/weeks. when he has trouble urinating he shows signs of colic, wont eat, paws, bites sides, rolls.
i was wondering if anyone could give tips on how to keep him comfortable for as long as possible :-(
