Hello all, do vets give you like some kind of conformation paper showing that you got a shot for your horse. My horse recently got her west nile shot and i didn't get a paper. Just wondering if this is normal. Im moving barns and this shot is required, and i don't know how to show she had it done??

My vet comes to the farm to do shots. His staff enters the records for all his farm calls when he gets back in. He never hands me a paper showing that if it was done, but if I need them I can call his office & pick one up or have them mailed to me.

You should get a receipt saying you paid for the vaccine and for what horse. If not, you can phone the vet clinic and have them prepare a confirmation letter saying your horse has had the vaccine.
