I had gotten ACL reconstruction surgery over 6 months ago and finally got the go ahead to start riding again. I have a custom ACL support brace, the DonJoy Armor Lo Pro Fource Point Hinge DonJoy Armor Lo Pro Fource Point Hinge

Has anyone ridden in something like this with tall boots? How did you fit it with the boot? How long did it take to get use to riding in it? Do you show in it?
TIA

Nope. Wore paddock boots. Half chap on the non braced leg and pant leg over the brace with a sleeve under. I would not have ever been able to fit the brace in my boot and certainly wasn't buying boots to fit the brace. My one concession was wider legged pants that were several inches longer than typical.

My therapist and ortho both weren't happy with me riding but ride I did.
