Western pad
Hi all, I am a newbie.
My horse, Dallas is a 14 year old 15.3 hh QH. He was headed into a homeless situation, came across my facebook page and before I knew it, I adopted him.
He was a show horse, but retired due to navicular. He is sound after an osphos shot and previox daily and will be used for light riding and trials... once I know what the heck I am doing!
I have read a lot about saddle pads. And of course everyone has an opinion of what works for them and their horse.
Based on the minimal amount of riding, and no heavy riding... what are some of the suggestions I can use for him. I don't mind spending money for his comfort... and mine.
