3 year old registered APHA gelding. I asked for some better pics (straight front, straight side, straight back). My husband really likes him but there is something about his confirmation I'm not sure about....

If someone wants to look him up for me his # is 921101 Dual Cool EZ Eyed.

Is there any way to perhaps go and visit him?
It might be good to see if those hind legs are only standing that way at that particular time or pretty much always..

She says she just got him in November and he was really skinny when she got him. I don't like his hind end and I'm not sure about his neck. It's kind of ewed.

I think she lives a state over. I'll have to see about visiting her in a few weeks. The main reason I like him is he reminds me a lot (in the eye and looks) of one of my favorite horses.

Does this look any better to you guys? It still looks odd to me. I'm not good at confirmation. (As you can probably tell)

Anybody want to help me out? I'm interested in this guy but I don't want to make a bad decision. Would you trade this horse for him? I just realized I'm probably annoying you guys with all these posts. There is just something in his eyes that I really like.

Yea his rearend looks funny, but maybe he'll grow into it, and get a lot more muscle. He's cute. I think all he really needs is muscle in a little while. And his legs can be corrected with the proper farrier. If it were me, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt just cuz I love paints lol

The second horse has the better conformation and will be easier to keep sound as far as shoeing or trimming is concerned. The paint is definetly cow hocked and the front legs turn out. but i do like the pastern lenght better on the paint. If the paint was a couple hundred pounds heavier it would look like a total different horse as far as the top line. but it won't his legs any. Thats what i see in the pictures.

The paint horse is kind of a poorly bred horse. If you traded that nice bay horse for him the other guy should send you gifts on every major holiday. In my opinion that would not be a trade that is fair to you.

Yea I made her send me over his pedigree and didn't see anything worth looking at. So I kindly told her no. Back to the drawing board.
