I have a grey that I’m going to breed an want to know what color y’all think it would produce. My mare is grey (has started getting the flea bitten on neck an shoulder) was born sorrel as sorrel can be with big blaze face an 4 white stockings. Her mom was a sorrel an white paint. My mares sire was a grey flea bitten stud.
so now to the stallion I wanna breed my mare too is very deep golden pally an his sire was deep dark pally as well.
so what do y’all think

So your mare would be carrying just one gray gene and two red (ee). She will pass e and has a 50/50 chance of passing gray. The stud would also be ee and pass e so any baby will be red based. He carries one cream gene for a 50/50 chance of passing that.

You will have a red horse that may or may not carry either cream or gray or potentially both. If you want a palomino your best chance is to purchase one. Shade varies so even if you did get a palomino from that cross no guarantee it would be dark.
