I currently have a foal who is 3mo old. I’ve been hearing conflicting things about giving your foal supplements, grain, etc. but am debating whether they need them at all. What are your thoughts on it? Or would a ration balancer work fine? (Currently my yearling is on Gro n’ Win)

foals this age will nibble dry feed, so provide Purina® Omolene® #300, Strategy® GX or Ultium® Growth horse feed in small meals throughout the day. They should be eating a minimum of 1 pound of dryfeed per month of age per day, and nibbling small amounts of grass or hay in addition to milk replacer.

Go to Madbarn's website, even if you don't buy their products, they will analyze your foals diet and tell you what you need.
