Hello! I have a question about a bit. I used it for about a year or two until I gained more knowledge and switched to a single jointed snaffle. I aways thought it was just a normal, western, curb bit, now I am thinking it is not. so, what is it and what is it's purpouse??

It's a poorly made grazing bit.

A type of curb bit like you posted pictures of.

Its just a standard curb. the "grazing" part comes from the way the shanks curve back a little bit. it has nothing to do really with the use of the bit itself.
