Ok so I have a Job for my Dad for his buisness I do work for him two times a week and its 10 hours a week $10.00 per hour.
Well eventually I will be getting more hours but for now I am doing what he needs me to do.
I just started for him.
Well I goto school Tuesday/Thursdays from 10-2:20
and come home to do homework.
Well today I just got a call from a place I applyed to called the Childrens courtyard.
This would be a good opertunity for me to get a job here because I am studying to become a teacher so I am wanting to get more exsperience.

But I dont know If i will have the time for this Job.
Because of school and other stuff I do during the week.

id get more hours, and if I do good more money. I mean its an opertunity to work with kids during the week.
What should I do?

I would go for it, you need to spread your wings from daddy sometime :)
And I'm sure if things didn't work out you could go back with your dad?

The reason why I work for my Dad is because he needs my help! Which requires me to work at home and not the office. I mean I am really considering taking this interview.
I love working for my DAD.

I know you love your dad, but it's time to try and advance what you want to do. If you can try to help your dad find someone to replace you.

Well I was once working for him 3 days a week then when he didnt need me anymore I was trying to look for a Job but with the Econemy it was really hard to look for a Job.
So my Dad decided to re hire me when he needed me again.
I would only take this Job to get more exsperience with Children and but it is only If i have the time to do so because of my scedule with school.

Working for my Father isnt a issue and it shouldnt be one. I know many people who work for there Dad.
I am taking this Interview in hopes for getting to work on my Scedule considering I got college to get through for this semester.

I would still continue working for my Dad if I dont get the Job.

No one can replace me considering I work at HOME for him.... And he doesnt need anyone at the Office right now. He doesnt hire just anyone.
I make good money and working 10 hrs a week is working for my scedule you know.

I would go for the job that has been offered to you! Tell your dad that you can try to help out for a bit and see if it works outs until he finds someone else (if he is going to hire someone) But my vote is to defiantly take the job!

Well like I said, he wont find anyone to replace me of what I do! Because what I do is personal to a family thing more then what he does for his buisness.
Its more of a family issue and that I get payed for it.... but its based on his buisness but more for personal reasoning.
:)
So no one can replace me.

I decided to goo a head and get the interview but hopefully I can get the hours I need and still be able to do school.

Going for an interview doesn't finalize that you are taking that job or leaving your dad's company, so I'd say definitely go for it. Find out how much they would pay you, and if their schedule could work with yours. If it all works out well for you, I'd say go for it. I really don't think your dad would be upset with you for moving on to something that is going to help you in the long run!

That's a great idea.

Going for an interview doesn't usually even mean they'll absolutely hire you. They've just find that you're one of the good possible workers and they do often interview more people than they finally hire so they can pick the best ones. So don't worry yet, this can eventually solve the situation . Besides that you can always refuse yourself if you feel so.

Anyways, good luck whatever you decide to do.

Eww, I found that perhaps sounded a bit rude, sorry for it. Well, I didn't mean you're incompetent, not at all but employers will have their own, case-by-case reasons why they employ/don't employ someone and usually they interview more people than they finally hire so part of candidates will be ruled out, unluckily (or luckily for some candidates).
