What should she be doing?

I have a filly for sale. She will technically turn 1 at the end of next month. She is just a little grade pony with beautiful coloring. She will make a falshy little thing one day. As much as I would love to keep her and train her I just do not have the time or space for 2 big horses and 2 ponies. She was a suprise when we bought my boys pony last year.

Anyway, she is halter broken, stands for the farrier fairly well, leads, picks up her feet, can be groomed, and ties in a a tie blocker. She has not been on a trailer yet but I am going to start working on that soon once the weather gets better. I have also started to desinsitize her with certain things.

So I had an email from a lady today asking if she lunges. I thought that was bad on a baby's legs but then it got me to thinking...is she doing the things she should be at this age??

Everybody has different ways of breaking and training babies. Be honest with the woman and explain what you have done with her, and why you haven't lunged her (its stressful on growing joints). Don't make excuses for your methods!
