Do you know any song that you just say that is MY song?

I think that the song I can go the Distance from disney's Hercules describes me because I feel like I don't fit in much with my group of friends and am always a bit excluded and I know they don't mean to do it I just don't fit in and this song makes me feel like there is somewhere out there that I belong and I will go anywhere to find out where it is.

Anssi Kela's Mikan Faijan BMW (Mika's Dad's BMW) is one which at least partly describes me. The only thing is that it's in Finnish so I don't even post the video here even you can find it on Youtube. It tells figuratively about changing.

Trying to think if there's something English which would describe me.

There have been so many over the years, hard to chose just one:lol:
I heard this song on the TV show saving grace and it was like they were speaking to me. I had to download it and I listen to it often.
Lyrics:
One time around the block
Two times around the clock
Three times, don't cross the little lady (lady)

So pretty and, oh, so bold
Got a heart full of gold on a lonely road
She said, "I don't even think that God can save me" (save me)

(Am I) gainin' ground
(Am I) losin' face
(Have I) lost and found my saving grace
Thankful for the gift my angels gave me

Born alone, we die alone
'n' I'm just sittin' here by the phone
Waitin' for the Lord to send my callin'

Street wise from the boulevard
Jesus only knows that she tries too hard
She's only tryin' to keep the sky from fallin'

Any man who says it's Heaven and Hell
Prob'ly got somethin' useless to sell
You ask me if I'm saved, but what's it to ya?

Blow a quarter, cop another eight
You're runnin' out of high, you're losin' your faith
Throw your hands up and scream, "Hallelujah"

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Amen

One time around the sun
Another year older and my work ain't done
It's time for me to write the final chapter (chapter)

Deal the cards and roll the dice
Sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll are my only vice
Tryin' to figure out just what's here after (here after)

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Amen

"this maniac's in love with you" Alice Cooper- It was a song I sent my hubby when we first started emailing each other. He emailed me "tell me you mean it", and so on. But that is our song!

I have have always felt a connection with "Lateralus" by Tool.

Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn beyond the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.

Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see there is so much more
and beckons me to look through to these infinite possibilities.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.

Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line.
Reaching out to embrace the random.
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come.

I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human.

With my feet upon the ground I lose myself
between the sounds and open wide to suck it in,
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out,
I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.

Spiral out. Keep going, going...

Dust In The Wind by Kansas.

It's ultimately about the futility of trying to hold onto material things, because nothing lasts forever.

You can take it as a sad song, but I don't.

To me it means we should cherish each day we have, and the people and animals we love, because those are the only things that really matter.

Wow-what a question :D It all depends on the day-my mood-what's goin' on...so hard to pin one down!
I'd have to say right now it'd be Michael Buble's new song 'Just Haven't Met You Yet'
There are lots more 'theme songs' I've picked over time but that's the most recent.
