I told my dad I wanted money for Christmas but he wants me to have something under the tree as well, so I am going to his office in a few days to go on an online shopping spree for horse stuff. The only thing I really need right now is riding gloves. And if tack of the day has any good deals I will probably grab them up.

So what else should I get? I'm thinking maybe a new girth and a new halter. His are functionally fine but starting to look a little bit run down. And whats everyones favorite brand of ridding glove?

Are you talking about english one? I got couple pairs from Dover and they are so comfortable! They are summer ones though, not winter. I may look into winter pair too. :)

I got a half pad recently. And my boots are not that old either... but my horses jumping boots are ancient so thats a thought. And you can never really have to many saddle pads.

Went to Dover and picked out some things
In order of importance:

Gloves:
Ariat Tek Grip Riding Glove - Dover Saddlery.

Girths:
I really like this one but I am not sure it would go with my brown saddle-
Ovation Alpha Gel Comfort Girth - Dover Saddlery.

Professionals Choice SMX Girth - Dover Saddlery.

Horse boots:
All Purpose Galloping Horse Boots - Dover Saddlery.

Bareback pad:
Bareback Pad - Dover Saddlery.
Question: My horse has very tall withers and an underdeveloped topline. Riding bareback makes me hurt the next day pretty bad. Will a bareback pad help enough to be worth the investment? Cause if not then I would like to get something else instead.

Halter:
Flex Rider Padded Breakaway Halter - Dover Saddlery.
