Hey everyone, I was wondering what type of boots I should use for my horse. I show in barrel racing, and I jump her in shows. When she stops she stops on her fetlocks and rips them up. That's basically why I want the boots, for her fetlocks. And also I was wondering why they are different from other boots and what they do.

SMB's provide pretty good support, and they cover the fetlock, but I don't know how well they're recieved in the English riding world...in barrel racing and other western events they're pretty common.

I'd say get her a pair of SMB's or SMB knock offs, and then for the show jumping just get a pair of open front boots and you should be squared away.
