Marlea,

Not all US got snow. We were told to expect a hard winter this year but had only one snowfall. Spring is moving in now. daffodils 6 inches up and buds on trees are noticeable. very easy winter.

Lucky! This year we have received more snow in the past couple months than we usually do in a whole winter! Lately though, the weather's been crazy! One day it will be plus five (celcius) then, the next day, it's minus thirty!

Your thread made me giggle  we get so much snow here its ridiculous. We live in 3+ feet of snow for about 5 months of the year.

yep thats me atm, my horses live at home and all our pipes froze over so i was in and out the house, to my mams displeasure lol. But like you said least when it was frozen the groud wasnt like a bog, now the horses look like mud monsters and it totally impossible to keep them clean!!!! lol What kinda horses do you have. Can i ask what may sound like a rather bizzare question...but do you find some people can be rather rude and offensive when posting thing on here? i had some people correct nearly everything id wrote because id spelt it wrong and got an offensive message becuase i disagreed with something someone had posted on one of my posts lol

Hahaha. I would appreciate if we had a wee bit less winter. Snow from October-March or April gets kind of old after a while. Especially when you can't see traffic at an intersection because the plowed snow is higher than your car. fun stuff.

It's been melting the past few days, but apparently there's a blizzard going through a few hours away. Not sure if where I'm at currently will get it. It's decently cold and windy today though compared to the past week. blargh.

OK, I have plenty of snow, it started in November and has been white since, yup, that's winter.

Today though it is, currently -19.9*C and with the wind chill feels like -28*C, that is cold in anyone's money.

At the start of the week we were just above freezing and walking around in T shirts:lol: I had hopes (Well I knew it was impossible but HOPED) that we were in for an early spring, then yesterday winter returned with a vengeance, it started snowing 30 mins before I went out to feed so this is what I saw when I got there

I WISH snowfall was rare here :'(.

It's pretty and everything and fun to play in. Even fun to ride in up to a point. But your leg muscles freeze up if you're not dressed well enough and your feet go numb unless you're wearing winter boots (even then they tend to be cold).

Spring, please come soon. I beg you. :D
