hi,
im going to make this as brief as i can!
i bought a horse last year and went through the whloe bonding thing. after heartache and tears and a few minor injuries we bonded. New girl arrived at the stable with first horse, 8 months later she still hasnt had a hack on it and i have bourne the brunt of her frustration. In the early days the accusations were hilarious.. my horse was waiting for hers to go asleep and creeping up and biting him. someone (im the only other person there) has stolen his shoes in the field. the farmer owning the stables has taken her side. yesterday i went use the loo and while i was in the loo she arrived at the stables. /after i walked out she rang the farmer and toldhim i had left the door open while her horses were loose. this is a very serious allegation as the yard is right next to the main london edinburgh trunk road. i insisted that she repeated the allegation in the presence of both the farmer and myself. when asked to do this she turned up her i pod and started singing to herself. when the farmer persisted to question her she said she refused to talk with me there as she hated my voice and locked herself in the stable. ok so i have outed her as a trouble making liar. How do i deal with the fact that there will probably be people who believe her lies?

Honestly, I don't think there is anything you can do. Sorry. I really don't like people like that.

Well hopefully, the BO will see that she's just a bit nutty and not believe anything she says about you. I personally wouldn't. I'm a firm believer in "if you can talk behind someones back, you can say it to their face"!

Well, I'd just stay as far away from her as possible. If you can, always have someone with you as well. And put a lock on your kit.

Those type of people are quick to get caught up in their own tales. It would take anyone long to figure her out.

its been really hard. my partner works away all week and she allways brings someone frome her gene pool with her . my horse is moved now as i wasn t enjoying time spent with him. the unfortunate thing is my business is still ran from the farm. the only loo is in the stables and i try to use it only if they are not there. i suppose im really lucky as my partner is very supportive. on the upside new yard is better located for great riding (and half the price)and now that ive got him away im more relaxed and enjoying riding him again. i just get upset when i think about the fact that people will believe that i would willingly open a door and let horses out onto a very busy road. evan the farmer believed i was capable of this until i forced a confrontation.
