In the spring I am breeding my mare to an arabian stallion preffarably straight egyptian or egyptian related. Here are two great contestians I hae found. Tell me which one you like better or tell let me know if there is one you like better that is "cheap" has a sweet personality and is near Indiana.

Personally I would go with Black Jack, but I am a dressage person, and so I like his look, and the way his confo is. The only thing I notice about his site, is that the information is from 2007, so I would want to check up on that first and make sure that the fees are the same. Pharoah is a very typey looking Arab, but the site does not look very professional, and there are no conformation shots to see what his conformation really looks like. They also make a point of mentioning how slow his gaits are, and I personally want something that has more get up and go, and moves underneath himself. It really depends on what you want though. If you want something probably slightly bigger, and possibly more western/english pleasure oriented, than I would go with Pharaoh, but if you don't mind something maybe a bit smaller, but more sport horse type, I'd go with Black Jack.

Depends what you want. Both sires have different merits and you have to decide which one is going to compliment your mare, not which one is nicest. They have very different builds and sire very different looks, so it's not a matter of which one is nicer, it's a matter of what you want and what will suit your mare.

Definitely I think Pharoah would be the best match for your mare...he's much less course in build than Jack, and with your mare's body type, I think that the resulting foal should be absolutely stunning.
