My trainer is going away for 9 days. Shes letting 2 college age girls feed all of the horses.

On my horse's feed trunk...she wrote down how many scoops of grain and how many flakes of hay he gets. But she did not write down that my horse gets his vitamins with his morning feed. So now i am worried that he wont be getting his source vitamins while she is away. *i dont think hes been getting them recently anyways because the container is still kinda full. :(

My horse gets special feed that mom and i pick up at tractor supply. The last time we went...they only had 4 bags left. So last week my trainer went to pick up some bags of the feed and tractor didnt have any. So she asked when they were going to restock the bags and they said they werent going to. :(

So now my trainer is going to mix the special feed with the regular grain that he used to get. So now im worried that hes going to go back to his "stupid days" and act bad when i ride him. ::sigh::

This special food keeps him calm and not act stupid.

We did find another store that sells the special food. So mom is going to call them this week and see if they have enough bags in stock.

If its in your boarding agreement that your trainer will feed supplements that you provide then you should ensure that it's actually being done. Add the vitamins to the list yourself if your trainer forgot them.

If you post the type of food that you're feeding someone may be able to suggest an alternative that might be more readily available.
