Okay so for the past 4 days my horse and friends horse have been in there stalls all day. All the fances are not working so the two horses keep breaking through the fance. So what I had to do was go and lunge them and run them around because they get all stocked up. It so bad and today my BO fixed the front pasture so the horses could be outside but once again they got out. When they got out the other times they just stayed by the barn and didn't go anywhere, but this time they decided to go for a mile and a half walk and got stuck in a pond, almost got hit by snowmobiles and where so close to our park-way that it makes me sick. I am so thankful and great full of the neighbors around my barn because they are the ones who walked that mile and half to catch our horses and walk them all the way back to our barn. I had no idea this had happen til I went to my barn to see these two laides giving my horses water and putting them her their stalls! I'm so thankful for them im pretty much crying right now!!!!

Does the barn you keep your horse at have an arena or round pen that they could be put in to exercise ?

When I am going to be gone for the day, I put mine in my round pen (85' diameter) and let them stretch out. I know they can't get out so I don't worry. I only let them out in the fields when I am there to keep an eye out.

Right now my fence in the back field is buried under snow, so no going out there for a while!

No sadly I dont so today my friend and eye are moving to another barn with an indoor and round pen. we moved all our stuff there and tomorrow our horse are going. I cant leave my horses in I feel so bad!!!

Church Hill Stables! It is the next closest barn to me and has cheap self-care. 120 a month. My horse is so stocked up I feel so baD

What an awful situation. Glad you got your horse back without injuries. Are there better facilities around?

Perhaps a nice idea to buy a nice bouquet of flowers as a thanks?
Overall, wow! Perhaps they should just replace the whole fence if it seems so easily broken down :shock:

That what I have said to him but I dont think he wants to put the money into it, but I move. Our horses are settling in quite well. I have some pictures of them tonight in the indoor.

Yes and may I say a HUGE indoor and very nice, I think Im just going to stay at church, but people are already touching my horse without asking or telling me or my friend.

Like to day was there first day really outside so I wanted to leave them out til like 8:30pm and someone thought that was to late and went and put our horses in and decided that they needed to adjust Sophie's(my friends horse) blanket without asking. I dont know its my petpive of mine you ask before you touch.

Aw I love the pics! Thank god you got the back safe and sound! what great people we have in the world who seea problem and take timeout of their day to help. I have hada pretty ****y day to so whenI read this I had to see what was up. I just found out I cant ride till my screwed up knee gets better and I cant get a orthipetic dr opitment till maybe a week or two. But happy ending for your bad day!
