well i go to the barn today since the lady was going to pay me for Ginger. well i go in my tack box and my stuff is missing!! i meen not all of it but most of the expensive stuff...like my half chaps ($50) my riding gloves ($20) and my girth (30) but my girth had been missing for like the last two weeks...and to make matters even worse i text my friend who was riding Ginger and things like that to tell her that i have sold Ginger. she texts me back saying to who and i todl her to a lady who lives about 45 minutes away and she says "well i hope she takes better care of her then you did" do you know how mad that made me??? i texted her back say what the h*** is your problem? and shes like all b***hy to me and shes like iim sorry but its true you wouldnt help me work with her and you left me and the BO to take care of her. i couldnt go to the barn for 2 weeks and i dont get how she had to "take care" of Ginger.....its rediculious.....i was like "well obviously it was a mistake letting you ride Ginger whenever you wanted" i meen this is a person i thought was my friend! shes like "well i feel bad for both of your horses." i meen, how RUDE are people. god...whatever im jsut so sick of people being so inconsiderate and rude. and after that my mom called my BO and was all ****** because my tack and things were missing and the BO atleast helped us out and refunded us half of board since Ginger was only at the barn for 2 weeks....anyways sorry for the rant guys :x

I hate it when people dissappoint us and its always worse when it is someone that we believed to be a friend. Not that I'm the wise old lady in the corner, BUT I have always found that its times like these that have helped me make better decisions in my life. Sure I would be ticked off but look at the bigger picture. You were concidering getting a young horse and were depending on this gal for help. At least you found out that she was not going to be there for you before you got the horse! I am glad that GInger is going to a good home. Enjoy your new found freedom from the responcibilities of horse ownership. Take a few lessons and go from there! :D

Thank goodness for you it is all over and you are not stuck depending on her. I totally agree with what Dumas said - though I know you are still gonna be mad for a while (and you have every right to be, I know I would be ticked off too!) But yeah, chock it up to life lesson learned, enjoy your freedom and move on. At least Ginger went to a good home for her and you seem to be handling things in an adult fashion (unlike your so-called friend). I agree with you, a sit down with her probably won't help or fix anything. She sadly sounds too immature for that to do any good.
