Enthusiast with Multiple Interest

I grew up without video games. Was always happier outside. When I was a kid, I knew the difference between hay and straw, a halter and a bridle, how to clean stalls, how to wash and care for horses. Did lots of grunt work but not a lot of riding. My time came when asked to be on the Honor Guard, got to perform full-military honors for veterans, and learned how to conduct them with a caisson. I used to only be interested in Western riding, but now, I would also love to learn the various disciplines of Dressage, hunt/seat, running thoroughbreds, eventing, even gathering and training a caisson team in the future. Glad to be here.

Welcome! We're glad you're here.

Do you give the horse its strength or clothe its neck with a flowing mane? Job 39:19

Welcome! So glad you're here. Trying them all out can be great fun.

We had a team in our association that pulled a caisson. I was invited along for one of the reenactments. Throughly enjoyed.

Some horse people change their horse, they change their tack and discipline, they change their instructor; they never change themselves.
