Thumbs up Hello from Germany

Hi everyone!

I´m a new member and I live in the west of Germany.

First I want to say sorry for my english I want to learn better english.

I´m 37 years old and I work in a driving school in the office and as a driving instructor. I started riding late, since I was already 18 years old.

I have a gelding and he will be 20 years old in May. I bought him when he was 10 years old. He is a Hanoverian but there is something Arab in it.

That was it from me first.

Welcome to the forum! I started riding in Germany. It's a great place to learn - especially if you are into dressage!

Welcome to the forum! You write in English better than a lot of native English speakers do. Lovely horse in your profile picture.

Herzlich willkommen, @Piccadilly ! Your horse is very pretty!

Hold on to what makes you happy! If it tries to buck you off, just hold on even tighter!

Hello! What did you do in Germany? Did you live there? Dressage is very good in Germany. I always wanted to have a dressage horse but his passion was jumping

Yes, that is my lovely horse. He has a good character...and sometimes he is a little naughty

Hello and welcome...
18 is not a "late age" to start riding. I'm 67, and only really started riding about 3 years ago, thanks to my wife, long story...
We don't show, and only pleasure ride, so starting young isn't a problem.
Your horse is beautiful and again welcome, questions, ask. A lot of knowledgeable folks on this forum.

The silent communication with horses. A trust that can't be bought, earned, or convinced, you are either their kind or your not..

@Piccadilly I lived there for three years. My dad was in the military. I absolutely loved it there and I keep promising myself I'll go back someday.
